~ Lara H.

When I heard about this retreat, I was instantly excited. The country, a completely new experience, my first retreat, and the opportunity to explore the Andean ways with someone I trust gave me the courage to take this step. Arriving at the retreat centre in Pisac was immediately calming — the place itself is beautiful and contributes to a feeling of serene safety. Everything was arranged down to the smallest detail, which allowed me to fully surrender to my own process. What made it truly special was the sense of togetherness: a small, diverse group where everyone could truly be themselves. One of the highlights was the cacao and kirtan ceremony with the local community — singing together, speaking words you have never voiced before, feeling judgments fade and a sense of unity emerge. I would recommend this retreat to anyone who wants to develop themselves spiritually. It’s not just a journey to Peru, but an inward journey — one that continues to resonate in everything that follows.

The Journey

Over 10 days in the Sacred Valley, the retreat unfolds as a carefully guided journey — moving from arrival and grounding, into deep work, integration, and sacred exploration of Peru.
Each step is designed to support your inner transformation while being held in a supportive and intentional container.

The Ceremonies
& Experiences

Despacho Ceremony

An offering to Pachamama (Mother Earth) and the Apus, the Despacho opens our journey together. A local Andean elder arranges grains, seeds, and flowers into a sacred mandala, then offers it to the fire — carrying our intentions and prayers.

Pilgrimage to
Kinsa Cocha

A high mountain pass, three sacred lakes, and thin, clear air. The walk to Kinsa Cocha is the physical heart of the journey — hours of effort and silence in the high Andes, then stillness at the water’s edge. What you carry up is rarely what you carry back down.

Sacred Sites
of the Valley

The Sacred Valley is full of places built by people who understood alignment, water, and the seasons. We walk to them slowly, with context and time to simply sit — so they land as something felt, not sightseeing.

Sweat Lodge
(Temazcal)

An ancient purification ritual of fire, water, and heat — the Temazcal is a rebirth experience. You enter the darkness carrying what you no longer need, and step out lighter, cleaner, and more connected.

Kirtan & Cacao
Ceremony

Ceremonial cacao opens the heart; Kirtan — devotional call-and-response chanting — opens the voice. Together they create an evening of pure presence, connection, and joy that dissolves the barriers we carry into the room.

Sound Healing

Gongs, singing bowls, and sacred instruments guide you into a deep meditative state. Sound bypasses the thinking mind — resetting your nervous system and returning you to a natural state of balance and clarity.

Deep Breathwork
Sessions

Guided, active breathing takes you beyond words and into the body. In a single session, breath can surface what has been held, release it, and leave you clear, open, and present.

Daily Yoga, Meditation & Pranayama

Machu Picchu — Optional Add-On

If you want to extend your journey, Machu Picchu is available as a fully arranged add-on: train, entry, bus, and full logistics handled by me. Walking through the ancient citadel after ten days of inner work lands differently — quieter, clearer. Entry permits are strictly limited, so let me know early.

Meet Your GUIDE

Hi! I’m Jordy Jaarsma

I'm a 700-hour certified yoga teacher, pranayama specialist, spiritual mentor, and conscious business coach — here to help people reconnect with their inner truth and build a life aligned with it.

Originally from the Netherlands, I've lived and worked across the world — Curaçao, Nepal, Dubai, and now the Sacred Valley of Peru, where ancient traditions, nature, and community shape everything I do. Since 2020 I've supported 500+ people through coaching, teaching, and retreats, and co-founded SolSeed Mystery School here in Pisac.

I’ll be with you for the whole journey — leading the practice, holding the container, and helping you carry what surfaces here back into your life.

Impressions
Retreat Center

Nestled in Pisac, Peru, this serene sanctuary in the Sacred Valley of the Incas provides the perfect space for deep healing and transformation. Surrounded by breathtaking mountains, ancient wisdom, and the pulse of Pachamama (Mother Earth), you will be held in a container of profound love and support.

Why Peru
A Portal to Remembrance

Some places hold a particular kind of stillness, and the Sacred Valley is one of them. For centuries, seekers and wisdom keepers have come to the Andes for healing, guidance, and clarity — and the land still carries that.

In the high Andes near Machu Picchu, the old Inca stonework remains, and the Apus — the sacred mountain spirits the Andean people honour as guardians of the valley — stand over everything. The air is thin, the sky is wide, and the noise you arrive with tends to settle on its own.

The Sacred Valley isn’t only a beautiful landscape; it’s a living tradition. For thousands of years, Andean wisdom keepers have practised Ayni (sacred reciprocity), Munay (love from the heart), and Yachay (inner knowing) — not as ideas, but as ways of living. Here, ceremony and daily life are the same thing. This is the work the land supports: slowing down enough to hear yourself again, releasing what isn’t yours to carry, and remembering your connection to the earth and the people around you.

If Peru is calling you, that pull is usually pointing at something.

Elements

The retreat includes ceremonial elements rooted in Andean tradition — a Despacho offering, a Temazcal sweat lodge, an evening of cacao and kirtan, sound healing, and daily yoga, breathwork and meditation. All of it is described in full on this page, and we walk through the whole week together on your Clarity Call, so you know exactly what to expect before you book.

Altitude

Pisac is high altitude; most attendees adjust comfortably within a day or two. We'll guide you throughout the acclimatization process.

What flights do I need to book

To reach the retreat center in Pisac, Peru, you’ll need to fly into Cusco, Peru (CUZ). Since Cusco is a smaller airport, all international flights first land in Lima, Peru (LIM), where you will take a domestic flight to Cusco.

Once you arrive in Cusco, we will help arrange a private taxi to take you to Pisac, a 45-minute scenic drive through the Sacred Valley. We recommend arriving at least one day early (October 1, 2026) to acclimate to the altitude before the retreat begins on October 2, 2026.

For your departure, the retreat ends on October 11, 2026, so you may book a flight home that evening or the following day if you'd like extra time to explore.

Need assistance with flights or travel logistics? We’re happy to help!
